Air temperature to rise 2-3 degrees in Armenia over the coming days
From July 28 to August 1 high temperature is predicted in the territory of the republic,
Armenian State Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Service at the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported.
According to the source, in the daytime up to 38...39 degrees above zero and a high risk of fire is predicted in the valleys of Syunik, in Yerevan and Ararat Valley. The daily average air temperature will be 4-6 degrees higher than normal.
The index of ultraviolet rays is predicted to reach 6, so it’s recommended to avoid direct sunrays from 11:00 to 15:00, the release said.
From July 28 to August 1 no precipitation is predicted. Southwest wind speed is 3-8 m/s.
On July 28-29, the air temperature will gradually rise by 2-3 degrees. In Yerevan from July 28 to August 1 no precipitation is predicted.
