Constantine Orbelian named new director of Yerevan Opera Theatre
Upon the order of Armenia’s Minister of Culture Armen Amiryan, Constantine Orbelian has been appointed Director of the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Alexander Spendiaryan on the basis of the Government’s decision of July 27 2017, the ministry told Panorama.am.
To remind, according to the February 3 order of Minister Amiryan, Andranik Arzumanyan was relieved from the post of Director of Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre upon his own resignation. According to another order by the minister, Artistic director of the Theatre Constantine Orbelian was appointed acting director of the Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre.
