Over 150 citizens of Georgia, who have been handed prison terms in Turkey for committing various crimes, are on hunger strike in Istanbul.
The family members of the prisoners talk about cruelty towards the convicts and accuse diplomatic representatives of negligence, Rustavi 2 Georgian broadcasting company reports.
"For the fourth day, 150 prisoners have been on hunger strike. We have officially applied to the embassy, but nothing has been done,” said Irma Kineishvili, the wife of one of the prisoners.
