PM discussed details of the investment program for waste management
Armenian PM Karen Karapetyan received on Monday the Executive Director of Global Reserves Management Robert Whitfield, the governmental press service reported.
According to the source, the interlocutors discusses the prospects and further steps for the implementation of the construction of a garbage sorting plant in Armenia.
The Prime Minister pointed the Cabinet adopted a clear-cut strategy in waste management sector and is set to consistently implement it. Karen Karapetyan commended the company’s interest in implementing garbage processing program in our country and expressed readiness on behalf of the government to provide necessary technical assistance.
Robert Whitfield in turn presented the activity of the company in the sphere of waste processing. Before proceeding to the next steps, the parties arranged to draft preliminary assessment of the program and conduct necessary studies to that end.
