Investigative Committee opens criminal case as Azeri shooting kills Armenian soldier
The Third Garrison Investigation Unit of Armenia’s Investigative Committee launched a criminal case into the killing of mandatory serviceman Arman S. Movsisyan by the Azerbaijani gunfire.
The Investigative Committee reports that on August 14, at around 11:00, Armenian soldier Arman Movsisyan sustained a fatal gunshot wound in the head due to the Azerbaijani shooting in the direction of one of the military posts of the Karabakh Defense Army.
The criminal case has been initiated over murder out of motives of national, racial or religious hatred or fanatism. Preliminary probe is under way.
