Hot spots of Khosrov Forest Reserve fire extinguished
The hot spots of the Khosrov Forest State Reserve fire still spreading through 2.5 kilometers was extinguished as of 17:30.
Currently post-extinguishing activities are underway in the forest, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) told Panorama.am.
Russian IL-76 water bomber aircraft continues the firefighting activities, creating security zones and humid environment to rule out the repeated flare up of the fire bodies.
Currently it is not raining in the area of the forest, with precipitations expected in the territory after 19:00, according to the Hydro-Meteorological Service.
A decision on the further flights of the Russian water bomber and large-scale works will be taken on early Thursday, after studying the reconnaissance results.
