Five Armenian boxers to take part in Makhachkala tournament
In parallel to the 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships scheduled for Hamburg, Germany on August 23-29, an international boxing tournament will be held in Makhachkala, Dagestan's capital.
In an interview with the Armenian National Olympic Committee, David Torosyan, head coach of the Armenian national boxing team, said the following boxers will represent Armenia in the Makhachkala tournament – Vahe Badalyan (52 kg), Koryun Astoyan (69 kg), Yura Darabyan (75 kg), Henrikh Sargsyan (91 kg) and Anush Grigoryan (52 kg).
The Armenian boxers will take part in the tournament led by member of the coaching staff of Armenia’s boxing team Rudik Mkrtchyan.
