Reports on Azeri shelling of Armenia’s bordering villages submitted to international structures
The Armenian Human Rights Defender’s Office has summed up all the information obtained during the fact-finding mission on the Azerbaijani shelling of Chinari, Voskepar, Baghanis, Voskevan, Koti and Barekamavan bordering villages of Armenia’s Tavush province conducted from January 2017 up to present.
As the Ombudsman’s Office told Panorama.am, the facts on the targeted shelling of the civilian population of Armenia by the Azerbaijani military have been summed up, revealing the nature and patterns of the recorded violations.
The summed up reports have been submitted to the international structures and to the international human rights organizations.
The Ombudsman’s Office reports that currently preparatory activities are underway to organize international meetings and discussions and to make all the facts featured in those special reports a subject of discussion.
