The issue of recognition of Armenian academic diplomas discussed in Iran
Ambassador of Armenia to the Islamic Republic of Iran Artashes Toumanian had a meeting with Mohammad Mehdi Zahedi, the Head of the Education and Research Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Armenia’s foreign ministry reported on Monday, adding the issue of the recognition of Armenian academic diplomas in Iran was among the topics discussed.
According to the source, Mehdi Zahedi thanked the Ambassador for the high-level organization of the visit of the Iranian delegation to Armenia led by him in July, expressing a desire to invite his Armenian Parliament counterpart to Tehran.
Speaking of the development of bilateral cooperation in the sphere of science, the Head of the Education and Research Committee of the Iranian Mejlis expressed readiness to support the activation of inter-parliamentary cooperation, the release said.
