Armenia national football team off to Romania
Armenian national football team players and the FFA delegation is travelling to Bucharest, Romania today to play the World Cup qualifying match in Group E against Romania. As the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) reports, the match will take place on September 1 at 22:45 Yerevan time.
Armenian national team captain and Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is travelling with the squad as well. Mkhitaryan has posted a photo at the airport on Facebook with a message “Time to take off Bucharest.”
To note, Armenia currently sits fifth in Group E with 6 points.
