Tigran Mansurian’s compositions to be played in Harichavank, Vanadzor, and Artsakh
Compositions and art songs by famous Armenian composer Tigran Mansurian will be played in a series of concerts planned in autumn in Armenia’s cities and Artsakh. As the ministry of culture reported in a release, on October 1 a concert is planned in Vanadzor musical school after Eduard Kzartmyan, on October 2 – in Harichavank, which is 7th century Armenian monastery located near the village of Harich, and Artsakh in early November. in
“I have long wanted to see such concerts,” Armenian Minister of Culture Armen Amiryan once told the composer.
According to the release, the concert in Harichavank will be unique as around 60 people will be able to watch the concert inside the monastery, while another 200-250 guests will follow live the concert through the screen that will be placed in the yard of the monastery.
Meanwhile, the minister of culture and youth affairs of the Artsakh Republic has expressed readiness to support the organization of the Artsakh performance.
