Armenian Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Vahan Martirosyan met with the IT representatives of the Armenian community in Seoul in the frameworks of the Global Infrastructure Conference held on 4-6 of September in Seoul.

As the ministry of Transport and Communication reported in a release, the meeting was in particular held with the Armenian fellows working in the company “Samsung” among whom there is a student of the security faculty of the Korean University.

The young specialists told the Minister about their success and progress in the company. Mr. Vahan Martirosyan mentioned that he was ready to support in case the young specialists wished to implement programs in Armenia or initiate IT corporations, research centers or production in our country.

The framework of the Ministry’s authorities in the field of IT and the mechanisms supporting the projects were introduced during the bilateral meeting.

The meeting attendees spoke about the developments of the South-Korean IT sector, introduced the specifications of the electronic system of transport management.

Mr. Vahan Martirosyan proposed the young people to cooperate in the frameworks of the project to develop a transport flow monitoring system in Armenian cities.
