Artsakh government resigns as the president assumes the office for a new term
On 7 September, in accordance with Article 169 of the Artsakh Republic Constitution, the Cabinet of Ministers tendered resignation to the Head of the State with respect to the President of the Republic assuming his post.
On the same day President Bako Sahakyan signed a decree accepting the Cabinet’s resignation. Under the decree the members of the Republic’s Cabinet of Ministers will continue performing their functions until the formation of a new government, information department at the Artsakh President’s Office reported.
To remind, earlier President Bako Sahakyan took an oath and assumed the office of the President during the solemn inauguration ceremony
