Byurakan fire isolated
As of 09:38 the fire erupted in the grass area near the Byurakan village of Aragatsotn region is isolated with remaining three hot spots to be extinguished. As the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) told Panorama.am, reconnaissance flights by drones are operated over the area.
According to the source, round-the-clock duty and post-extinguishing activities are underway.
To remind, on September 3, at 3:26 pm, Armenia’s MES received an alert, saying a massive fire had broken out at the forest near the village of Byurakan in Armenia’s Aragatsotn Province. According to the initial data, the blazes have consumed 80 hectares of the forest land.
