Czech-Armenian painter Hovik Muradian takes part in China-Europe Arts Biennale
The first-ever China-Europe International Arts Biennale: Prague 2017 kicked off at the Industry Palace, Prague Exhibition Grounds (Výstaviště Praha) on 6 Sept. Some 120 painters and sculptors from 9 states– China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Greece – are taking part in the exhibition, displaying a total of 500 art works.
As Armenian European magazine "Days" told Panorama.am, the exhibition features the works of 10 Czech painters, including 3 paintings by Czech-Armenian painter Hovik Muradian.
“I am excited to be among the participants and have the honor to display my works at the first China-Europe Arts Biennale,” Hovik Muradian noted.
The First China-Europe International Arts Biennale: Prague 2017 aims at promoting the understanding of Chinese arts in the daily sense as well as demonstrating artists’ daily lives and their artistic explorations in different and trans-cultural environments.
The exhibition features three main topics – Geo-relation & Daily, Art for Every Day Life and History and Folklore Art Nowadays.
The biennale will run until 10 September.
