Harutyun Khachatryan to head jury of 'Message to Man' int’l film festival
“Message to Man” annual international film festival of documentary, short, animated and experimental films will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia from September 15 to 22. The festival has been held in St. Petersburg since 1989. This year, the film festival mainly focuses on humanism.
As the press service of the Golden Apricot Yerevan International Film Festival told Panorama.am, People's Artist of Armenia, filmmaker Harutyun Khachatryan will head the jury of the “Message to Man film” festival this year. The film director’s first steps in the cinema are also related to this festival. ‘’Kond’’ and ‘’White Town’’ films by Harutyun Khachatryan were screened at Message to Man 1st International Film Festival in 1989, and in 1993 the film “Return to the Promised Land" won three prizes at the same festival.
