Criminal case initiated on the shootout and murder in Yerevan Vernisazh market
A criminal case was initiated according to three articles of the RA Criminal Code on the murder occurred in Vernisazh open-air market in downtown Yerevan on Thursday.

As Armenia’s Investigative Committee reported, an investigatory group was created, and the criminal case on murder committed in a way dangerous for the life of many people, and illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons is ongoing in the RA IC General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases.
As reported earlier, one was killed another was wounded in a shootout in the Vernisazh market. According to updated data, the victims of the incident are identified with G. Mosinyan (born 1974) who died of the firearm injuries and V. Abgaryan transferred to hospital due to received injuries.
Through inspection of the site a pistol, firearm and cartridges were found in the neighboring area. Urgent investigatory, operative-searching measures are taken to reveal the crime, the Committee said.
