Construction of Karvachar town water supply system almost completed
The inhabitants of Karvachar town situated in Shahumyan region of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) will soon be able to use fresh drinking water flowing from the mountains of the country, the Ministry of Urban Development of Artsakh reports.
The construction works of the water supply system in Karvachar began in 2016. The construction of the external distribution network, as well as the 14-km-long pipeline and the manholes are already completed. In 2016, three ponds were built in the upper zone of Karvachar.
Currently, the newly built water supply system is being tested, after which Karvachar will be provided both with fresh drinking and irrigation water supply around the clock.
The construction works are coordinated by Capital Construction Department of the Ministry of Urban Development.
