Participants of Armenia-Diaspora Conference pay tribute to Armenian Genocide victims
The participants of the 6th Pan-Armenian Armenia-Diaspora Conference taking place in Yerevan, Armenia, led by Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex (Tsitsernakaberd) on early Tuesday and paid tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
The guests were accompanied by acting director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, Suren Manukyan.
They laid flowers at the Eternal Flame of the Memorial and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence, the official website of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute reports.
The participants also jointly performed ‘Kilikia’ song near the Eternal Flame, afterwards planting a fir tree at the Memorial Park in Tsitsernakaberd.
