Armenian, Canadian FMs meet in NYC, discuss Francophonie Summit preparation works
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is in New York City as part of the Armenian delegation led by President Serzh Sargsyan, on Tuesday met with foreign minister of Canada, Chrystia Freeland.
As the ministry reports in a release, the officials exchanged views on the agenda of the Armenian-Canadian active political dialogue, as well as the promotion of the trade-economic ties.
The ministers next reflected on issues of mutual partnership within the framework of different international organizations.
Edward Nalbandian and Chrystia Freeland also touched upon the cooperation on the sidelines of the International Organisation of La Francophonie, as well as the preparation works for the upcoming Summit of Francophonie scheduled for Yerevan in 2018.
