Legendary composer Michel Legrand special guest at Nairi Pan-Armenian Music Festival awards ceremony
Aram Khachaturyan Concert Hall in Yerevan, Armenia is set to host the awards ceremony of the Nairi Pan-Armenian Music Festival on Wednesday evening.
The concert program of the festival features the following participants: the Armenian National Academic Choir, Gyumri State Symphonic Orchestra, Duduk Quintet, Aram Satian, Martin Vardazaryan, Leyla Saribekyan, Hamlet Gevorgyan, Arsen Grigoryan (Aso), Hasmik Leyloyan, Silva Yuzbashyan, Narek Hakhnazaryan (Russia), Narine Malkhasyan (Russia), Alexander Zakaryan (Russia), Papin Poghosyan (US), Armen Hovhannisyan (US), Salbi Mailyan (US), Hermine Amiryan (US), Emma Tovmasyan (US), Anahit Nersisyan (US) and Barsegh Tumanyan (Kazakhstan).
The special guest of the music festival is renowned French composer Michel Legrand.
The jury of the awards ceremony comprises Tigran Mansurian, Ara Babajanyan, Samvel Haroyan, Martin Vardazaryan, Ara Gevorgyan and the others, headed by Aram Satian.
The Nairi Pan-Armenian Music Festival aims at contributing to the preservation and development of the Armenian music, deepening cultural ties between the musicians and singers from Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora, supporting the elaboration and implementation of joint programs, contributing to the development and promotion of contemporary Armenian music, etc.
