FM Nalbandian meets with his Madagascar counterpart in New York
Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday met with Eri Rabary Njaka, Foreign Minister of Madagascar in New York, the press service of the ministry reports.
Minister Nalbandian congratulated Eri Rabary Njaka on his appointment as Foreign Minister and expressed confidence that through joint efforts a new impetus could be given to bilateral relations.
The Armenian official recalled with warmth his visit to Antananarivo last November and thanked Madagascar for supporting the decision to hold the 17th Summit of the La Francophonie in Yerevan.
The ministers highlighted the importance of organizing high-level visits, expanding the legal framework and enhancing cooperation within the international organizations.
Minister Nalbandian and Henry Rabary Njaka had a detailed discussion on the cooperation within the International Organization of La Francophonie and the preparatory works for the Summit to be held in Yerevan next year.
