FM Nalbandian meets with OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in NYC
On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly's 72nd Regular Session in New York, Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Edward Nalbandian has held a meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov (Russia), Stephane Visconti (France) and Andrew Schofer (U.S.).
Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, was also present at the meeting, foreign ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan said in a tweet.
Earlier, in an interview with the Voice of America Armenian service FM Edward Nalbandian informed a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov is scheduled on 23 September.
In Nalbandian’s words, the meeting will address the Co-Chairs’ proposal for a high-level between the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the timetable of the co-chairmen’s visit to the region.
