Armenia closely follows the ongoing developments in Syria and the region - Edward Nalbandian
Armenian FM Eduard Nalbandian, met today with Walid al-Moallem, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria while paying a working visit to New York, press department at the foreign ministry reported.
Edward Nalbandian stressed that Armenia closely follows the ongoing developments in Syria and the region and expressed hope that the Syrian crisis will soon find a peaceful solution. He added that Armenia, within its capabilities, has assisted the Syrian people by sending humanitarian aid to the friendly country.
The Syrian Foreign Minister presented the steps being undertaken by the country's authorities towards the settlement of situation unfolded in Syria, as well as the ongoing fight against terrorist groups.
