Fourth session of Armenian-Iraqi joint intergovernmental commission kicks off in Yerevan
The fourth session of the Armenian-Iraqi intergovernmental commission on trade, science, and technical cooperation kicks off in Yerevan on September 25. As the ministry of territorial administration and development reported, the commission is co-chaired by the Minister of Territorial Administration Davit Lokyan from the Armenian side and the Iraqi Minister of Agriculture Falah Hassan Zaidan is the Co-Chair of the commission from the Iranian side.
It is reminded that the third session of the commission was held in 2016 in Baghdad. The timetable of the commission sittings is regulated by the respective provisions of the "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Iraq on Economic Cooperation"
It is expected the Iraqi delegation will hold high-level talks with the leadership of Armenia.
