Garni Temple offers free entry on October 2
On the last Saturday of each month the entry of state museums and museum-reserves is free, the Service for Protection of Historical Environment and Cultural Museum Reservoirs (NCSO) reported in a release.
According to NCSO’s director Ara Tarverdyan’s N 670 decree, the working as well as the free entry day in “Garni” historical-cultural museum-reserve has been moved to Monday, October 2 of 2017, instead of September 30.
To note, the Temple of Garni is an Ionic temple in Garni, Armenia built in 77 AD. It is the best-known structure and symbol of pre-Christian Armenia.
