Weather update: Rain, thunderstorms to grip Armenia in coming days
Rain with thunderstorms is predicted in post parts of Armenia on September 28-30, October 1-2 especially in the evening hours.
“Hidromet” Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported, the wind speed may exceed up to 15-20 m/s during thunderstorms.
Western wind speed is 3-8 m/s. On September 27-28, the air temperature will go down by 4-6 degrees, rising and again falling by 2-3 degrees on 1 and 2 October respectively.
In capital Yerevan, rain with thunderstorm is forecast for September 28-30, October 1-2, especially in the evening hours. During thunderstorms, wind speed may exceed up to 15-20 m/s.
