Artsakh economy records fourfold GDP growth in ten years – advisor to the president
Over the past ten years the Artsakh (Nagorno Karabakh) Republic has seen fourfold GDP growth, Advisor to the Artsakh president Tigran Abrahamyan wrote on Facebook, citing the cumulative data of the country’s economic indexes over the past ten years.
“In 2007 the Artsakh GDP totaled to 70,8 billion AMD, in 2016 - 229,6 billion, and in 2017 it is expected to ensure 270 billion to hit fourfold nominal GDP growth over the course of the past ten years,” Abrahamyan wrote.
The Artsakh official went on saying the growth rate is well expressed in the budget revenues with 30 billion AMD in 2007 against 100 billion expected in 2017.
