Two Armenian gymnasts secure finals spots at World Gymnastics Championships
Two Armenian gymnasts have secured their places in the finals of the World Gymnastics Championships in Montreal, Canada.
Gymnast Artur Davtyan gave strong performance in the qualifying round of the Triathlon event. The Armenian athlete scored a total of 81.346 points and secured a spot in the finals taking the 15th position.
Athlete Harutyun Merdinyan claimed the eight spot with 14.433 points to win through to the finals in the Pommel Horse discipline.
Another Armenian representative Vahagn Davtyan was left out of competition in Rings, taking the 16th place with 14.433 points.
