The latest: One of Armenians affected by Yerevan-bound van crash discharged from hospital
One of the Armenians affected by a traffic accident in Russia involving a Yerevan-bound passenger van has been discharged from hospital.
A Mercedes Sprinter vehicle driven by Umrshat Iskoyan (b. 1954), which operated passenger transportation en route from Nizhny Novgorod to Yerevan, lost control and crashed into a streamlet on the 8km of Mineralnye Vody-Alexandrovskoye highway Thursday night.
Two of the passengers Gohar Hakobyan (b. 1961) and Salvi Avetisyan (b. 1967) were taken to the central hospital in the Russian Mineralnye Vody town.
As the hospital administration told the Armenian ministry of emergency situations, the doctors assessed Gohar Hakobyan’s health condition satisfactory, with Salvi Avetisyan being discharged from hospital after receiving the necessary treatment.
