Best teacher and school principal awarded on the Teacher’s Day
The award-giving ceremony of “Best teacher of the year,” “Best school principal of the year,” and “Best nurse of the year” nominations were held at Arno Babajanyan concert hall on Thursday in Yerevan.
As the ministry of educations reports in a release, for successful activities in the cause of upbringing the rising generation and for long years of tireless pedagogical work, English language teacher of the Gyumri basic school N20 Ohanna Avetisyan was named as the “Teacher of the year,” while nurse Goharik Khurshudyan of Ararat kindergarten N1 - “Best nurse of the year.”
The principal of Egheg School in Syunik region Meri Gandalyan won the title of “Best school principal of the year” award.
The winners in best teacher and best nurse nominations received cars, while the best school principal was awarded with a computer.
Aside from that, number of educators and teachers were awarded the Prime Minister’s commemorative medals and letters of appreciation.
