President Sargsyan receives newly appointed OSCE Minsk Group U.S. Co-Chair
President Serzh Sargsyan received onThursday newly appointed OSCE Minsk Group U.S. Co-Chair Andrew Schofer, the press department of the President’s Office reported.
The President of Armenia congratulated Ambassador Schofer on his appointment. Emphasizing that the newly appointed U.S. Co-Chair assumed his diplomatic mission in rather a difficult period of the NK conflict settlement process, Serzh Sargsyan wished him every success in the exercise of this important mission.
Hopeful that the OSCE Minsk Group’s mediation efforts would continue successfully for the sake of an exclusively peaceful resolution of the conflict in accordance with the norms and principles of international law, President Sargsyan stressed that Armenia is prepared to continue endeavoring to that end together with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
