Sergey Cheryomin points out to the 40% export growth from Armenia to Moscow
Exports from Armenia to Moscow increased by 40% in the first half of 2017, which is a progressive indicator as compared to other countries, Minister of the Government of Moscow, Head of Moscow Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations Sergey Cheryomin stated today in Yerevan at a meeting with Armenia’s Pm Karen Karapetyan.
As the governmental press service reported, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the current level and further development of cooperation.
According to the source, Cheryomin presented next the current trends in economic policy and investment projects in Moscow. Karen Karapetyan stressed the importance of continued effective cooperation and specific steps to increase the volume of commodity turnover.
The Prime Minister spoke about the reforms being implemented in a number of priority sectors, noting that Armenia is a platform that can connect the domestic markets of different countries. In this context, Karen Karapetyan suggested considering the prospects of investment programs.
The sides exchanged views on reforms in urban governance and urban development, the release added.
