President receives Chairman of Russian Association of Friendship and Cooperation with Armenia
President Serzh Sargsyan received today Chairman of the Russian Association of Friendship and Cooperation with Armenia Viktor Krivopuskov, the President’s Office reported in a press release.
Victor Krivopuskov introduced the President of Armenia to the ongoing and planned activities of his association, dwelling on the preparations for the upcoming Days of Armenian Culture to be held in Russia.
The event will be held as part of the 2016-2018 cultural cooperation agreement signed between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation. Mr Krivopuskov advised that besides the capital city, events will also be held in the provinces within the framework of the Days of Armenian Culture in Russia.
Welcoming the initiatives of the Association aimed at deepening Armenian-Russian relations and strengthening the friendship between the two peoples, the President of Armenia wished them every success in their future activities.
President Sargsyan assured that Armenia’s public agencies will provide all necessary support to the implementation of the aforementioned initiatives.
