According to the mayor, hazelnut and cornel trees are planned to be grown covering a total area of three hectares with fences to be installed around the plantation and the drip irrigation system.
Tree planting will be carried out after the soil cultivation and fencing the area.
Three stakeholders are participating in the project, sharing the ownership of the arable land with commitment to bring 20% participation to the project implementation.
“Except from defending the land, it should be cultivated as a way to strengthen the border,” the mayor wrote.
