Dmitry Medvedev arrives in Armenia
The Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev arrived in Armenia on Tuesday on official visit. The Chairman of the Russian Cabinet of Minister was greeted at Yerevan Zvartnoits Airport by Armenian PM Karen Karapetyan.
After the official welcome ceremony at the airport, the Russian delegation attended Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex to lay wreath in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
To note, Dmitri Medvedev is visiting Armenia at the invitation of Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan. On the margins of the visit, Karen Karapetyan and Dmitry Medvedev will hold private talks, followed by negotiations in extended format and a document signing ceremony.
The RF Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet with Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan and attend the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Yerevan on Wednesday.
