Armenia lifts restrictions on poultry import from Poland and Germany
Armenia lifted restrictions on supplies of poultry from Poland and Germany introduced in February 2017 in connection with the avian flu, the State Service for Food Safety affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture said on Wednesday in a press statement.
The document dated October 24 cancels earlier introduced decree prohibiting poultry import from the mentioned countries following the World organization of Animal Health (OIE) official notification about the elimination of the highly pathogenic avian influenza in Poland and Germany.
According to the release by the country’s food safety and veterinary watchdog import restriction are lifted on all types of poultry products, raw materials (feather, fluff), eggs for sale and incubation, bone flour, feed, complementary feeding stuff (excluding the complementary feeding stuff containing synthetic and chemical materials), eggs’ polymer and cardboard boxes and small boxes.
