Catholicos Aram I to address an international conference on religious and cultural pluralism in the Middle East
His Holiness Aram I accepted the invitation by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Mr. Nikolas Kotzias to attend the 2nd International Conference on “Religious and Cultural Pluralism and Peaceful Coexistence in the Middle East.” As the Armenian Church Catholicosate of Cilicia reported, Bishop Kegham Khatcherian, the Prelate of Greece, and V. Rev. Mesrob Sarkissian, Pontifical Vicar for the United Arab Emirates and the Region, will also participate in the conference.
According to the release, on the Occasion, His Holiness Aram I will address the Armenians of Greece on Sunday, October 29, 2017, and will have meetings with the spiritual and community leaders of the Armenian community.
To remind, the Armenian Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia is a hierarchal see of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Since 1930, the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia has been headquartered in Antelias, Lebanon. Aram I has been the Catholicos of Cilicia of the Armenian Apostolic Church since 1995.
