Aram Satian regains presidency of Composers Union of Armenia
The 15th session of the Composers Union of Armenia was held on Sunday, with elections of its president held on the sidelines of the meeting.
Composer Aram Satian regained the presidency of the union with 56 votes in favor, the Composers Union reported in a Facebook post.
The previous session of the union was held on October 27-28, 2013, with Aram Satian elected as the President of the union with 44 votes, receiving two more votes than composer Robert Amirkhanyan, who had headed the union for 22 years.
