Upgraded information center of Defense Army opened in Karabakh
The inauguration of an upgraded information center of the Defense Army was held in Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh on 24 October. The center has been created with the support of Ucom and “PanArmenian Media Group”.
Levon Mnatsakanyan, the Defense Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, said the upgraded information center provides more comfortable and efficient working conditions for media representatives. He expressed gratitude to the heads of Ucom and “PanArmenian Media Group” for a productive cooperation and their support in settling key issues.
The Chairman of the Board of Ucom, Gurgen Khachatryan told reporters that the operative information is a crucial issue for a country at war, therefore they have supported the upgrading and replenishing works of the information center.
Presenting the programs implemented by Ucom in Artsakh, he highlighted sizeable frontline buildup works carried out in the country.
“We certainly have registered tangible results in the efforts to strengthen Artsakh borders, however they are not enough,” Khachatryan said, refusing to provide further details. “There are certain peculiarities, which I cannot disclose, but we really have praiseworthy results and those programs will be implemented regularly.”
General Director of “PanArmenian Media Group”, Armen Arzumanyan said: ““PanArmenian Media Group” has always expressed readiness to direct all its professional skills to Artsakh in terms of both training the relevant experts on the spot and organizing trainings for Artsakh students at “PanArmenian Media Group”.”
“We do our best to be useful to Artsakh,” he highlighted.
Armen Arzumanyan and Gurgen Khachatryan also held a private conversation with Levon Mnatsakanyan, reaching agreements on institutional cooperation in the continuous modernization of technical and human capacity of the Defense Army’s information system.
