Solar power station to be built in Armenia’s Tavush region
Armenia’s government adopted on Thursday a decision to allocate a territory to Noyemberyan community of Tavush region for the construction of a solar plant. As the government reported in a release, the project will be implemented within the state-sponsored community development programme.
In April 2017, the government established an inter-agency commission in order to ensure the implementation of the investment program for the construction of the solar power plants
On the basis of the investment programme approved by the Government, 110MW solar power plants are to be constructed in six locations in Armenia with the first 55MW plant to be constructed in Masrik site of Gegharkunik Province.
