Armenian president left for India on working visit
President Serzh Sargsyan left on Thursday for a working visit to India on the invitation of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
As the press department at the President’s Office reported, within the framework of his visit, the President of Armenia will hold meetings with the country’s top leadership: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Shri Ram Nath Kovind, and Vice President Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu.
The President of the Republic of Armenia will attend the plenary session of the “World Food: India -2017” conference, and the ceremonious opening of an international food industry exhibition of the same name to be held on the sidelines of the conference.
Serzh Sargsyan is also scheduled to meet with the representatives of the Armenian community in India.
