Armenia sees rise in soap, detergents production in nine months
The production volumes of washing, cleaning and starching agents increased by 94 percent in Armenia in January-September 2017 compared to the indicated period of the past year, the statistics say.
According to the data released by the National Statistical Service (NSS), 2940.1 tons of washing, cleaning and starching agents were produced in Armenia in nine months of this year against the 1515.3 tons produced in 2016.
The statistics show the soap production volumes rose by 95.7 percent in the republic in January-September 2017 to stand at 283.8 tons.
