Two thousand trees planted at Erablur Military Pantheon
The tree-planting project at Erablur military Pantheon launched today, aiming to plant trees on an area of 10 hectares of the military cemetery in Yerevan.
Initiated by the defense ministry of Armenian in collaboration with Armenia Tree Project charity foundation, over 2 thousand trees were planted in the Pantheon on Saturday covering a total of 5 hectares.
As the ministry reported in a release, Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan, the commander staff of the General Staff, militaries, veterans, officials as well as representatives of the civil society, members of the Erkrapah Volunteer Union and school students partook in the event.
