The Armenia-EU Agreement should not be linked to the Karabakh issue, Ashot Manucharyan says
The Eurasian Union never objected to the EU, Member of Karabakh Committee Ashot Manucharyan told reporters at a press conference on Monday.
“The proposal to sign the agreement with the EU was first publicly announced in May 2013 with the follow-up Russian response. The EAEU was not event established when Russia agreed to the “both-and” policy option. It was later when the member of the global financial oligarchy came with a suggestion of ‘either-or’ option,” Manucharyan said, adding only after that Russia introduced the “either-or” policy option.
In the speaker’s words, Europe is often confused with the European Union, thinking the latter is created by Europe, while in reality ‘that is structure created by the global financial oligarchy’ seeking to govern the Europe and turn it into a tool.
Manucharyan refrained from making predictions whether the Armenia-EU agreement will be signed, saying no issue related to Armenia remained uncovered during the negotiations while the signing of the document itself should not be linked to the Karabakh issue.
“Karabakh has long turned into a tool of that global process. The most important issue will thus be momentum of the signing, what situation will be in the world,” Manucharyan concluded.
