Armenian defense minister’s delegation arrives in Canada
Armenian delegation led by Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan departed for Canada from the U.S. in the evening of November 14 to take part in the 2017 UN Peacekeeping Defense Ministerial conference hosted by Vancouver.
According to the ministry’s press service, the conference is the largest gathering dedicated to peacekeeping, bringing together more than 500 representatives from over 80 countries.
Before the opening of the conference, the Armenian delegation, together with the members of the Armenian community of Vancouver, paid tribute to the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
