Belarusian lawmakers visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex
The delegation of Belarusian lawmakers, the Vice President of the House of the Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, the Co-Chair of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assemblies of Armenia and Belarus Boleslav Pirshtuk and the Committee members among them, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex on Tuesday accompanied by Vice President Armenian National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov.
The guests laid flowers at eternal fire and in silence honored the memory of Holy Martyrs, the press service of the Parliament reported.
They also had been in the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the exhibits and left a note in the Memory Book of Honourable Guests.
“What we saw and heard, of course, is not fit in the normal human brain, and it is difficult to imagine how such thing could happen. Peaceful and innocent people, who wanted to live in their native land, were annihilated,” Boleslav Pirshtuk wrote in the Memory Book.
