Russia to continue supporting peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict, Lavrov says
As a co-chairing country of the OSCE Minsk Group, Russia, along with US and France, will continue supporting the creation of favorable conditions which would enable the sides to reach a peaceful settlement to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today at a joint news conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian in Yerevan.
Mr. Lavrov informed the Russian delegation has briefed the Armenian foreign minister on the outcome of the recent talks held in Baku.
The top Russian official underlined they are grateful to their Armenian partners for today’s productive talks. “I hope today’s meeting will give a new impetus to our partnership,” he added.
