Armenian soldier wounded in Karabakh landmine explosion in critical condition
Narek Hoveyan, a 19-year old soldier wounded in a landmine explosion in Artsakh, is currently in a critical condition, the director of the Central Military Hospital in Stepanakert, Zori Saghyan told Panorama.am.
As reported earlier, three soldiers of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) Defense Army were fatally wounded in a landmine explosion on Tuesday.
The blast that came around 6:35pm in a post of a north-eastern military unit claimed the lives of Gegham K Zakaryan (22), Sargis G Abrahamyan (19) and Sargis M Melikyan, (20), the Artsakh defense ministry said, adding another serviceman identified as Narek H Hoveyan sustained shrapnel injuries.
A probe has been launched into the circumstances of the incident.
