No closed, hardly passable roads in Armenia
Some highways in the territory of Armenia are partly covered with black ice as of 9:50am November 25, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Namely, black ice has taken hold on some sections of Kapan-Goris-Sisian-“Zanger” and Noyemberyan-Jujevan-Voskepar highways.
According to the source, there are no closed or hardly passable roadways in the country.
Light snow is forecast for most regions of Armenia at night and in the morning hours of 25 November, with the weather expected to clear up in the afternoon.
Snow is currently reported in Hrazdan town (Kotayk region).
The drivers are strictly recommended to use exclusively winter tires when driving in the mentioned regions.
Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department reports that Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles, except trucks.
